This person is a total crack potand his claim is a total fabrication. We have asked Dan to provide some sort of proof of ownership multiple times, but he never could (nor would even try). He also never had an original receipt. All he had was a lost password request email from a few years ago. That is not proof of any ownership. If I were to post the email correspondence here, you would almost be embarrassed in the manner that Dan acted. Here is just a quote from his very first email to us:

You son-of-a-bitches deleted my account hoping I didn't have my order number!
You were right!
You can go to HELL!

I have seen 8 year olds act in a more mature manner then this person. ;)

Also, even though Dan could not validate his account, we still sent him the software with a one-time download link so that he had access to the software while he located the necessary information to locate his account. He didn't mention that in the video. That is not something we had to do but we always want to make sure to take care of our customers as best as we can.

So yes, we are extremely reliable and I am sure many here will back that up. ;)

I'll second what Scott said! I've been buying and using CC software for years and have never come across a company with better service and support than CoffeeCup!! You'd be hard pressed to even come close.

That said, the support you can get from regular users here on the forum is pretty fantastic too. Flip through the various forums and you'll see that we have a wonderful community of users that are very helpful to everyone. Even those that sometimes get, well, a bit peeved...

Great Software, fantastic support and a wonderful community of users. You can't go wrong being a part of the CoffeeCup experience!

Not to mention that they have several great new programs coming out that support 'responsive' web site design. Top of the line and very exciting. You'd hate to miss all that! 'Reliable' ? Now and into the future. Stick around for some great times . . .

Hi Alec,
Welcome to the CC forum.
It is obvious that Dan is actually mad at himself.

Coffeecup has always been more then fair with users of their software. CC has awesome customer support and this forum has more helpful users then any forum I've been on.
Alec CC's applications are truly awesome. They are always working hard to stay on the cutting edge of web apps. Their latest endeavors into responsive design is stirring things up in the development community. If you stick around you won't be disappointed.:)

I can't hear what I'm looking at.

I must say that Coffeecup is THE most responsive software company with whom I have had the privilege to work (no pun intended). Every request is answered, and the software is great. In addition, they constantly work to improve it.

As I watched the video and he said, "I sent them communications..." my first thought was, "All you need to do is prove you bought it. Send them a receipt." I'm a business owner and I require the same thing. Anyone can say they bought something. Show the proof. As you can see from Scott's reply, they sent him a copy of the software anyway. That kind of service is what you find with Coffeecup.

As far as the software working properly, I've never had a significant problem like he described. It's either an issue with his computer or user error of some sort.

I'm glad you asked your question, because not only did you get an answer but you got to meet us here in the forums. CC has created a great community here in the forums and you will find lots of support from CC staff and other users here!

There is really not much else I can say than what the others already have said so I will just say I too have been with CoffeeCup since the late 1990 ' s. You won't find a more supportive software company team nor a more friendly and fun bunch of forum users as the people here. Welcome, and I too am glad you came forward and asked that question without passing uninformed judgment. Kudos to you too!

I normally don't post, unless I have had a problem, but bought CC in 2006 and every time they have new software. Never, ever been scammed by CC, nor have I ever "felt" I got a bad deal. Top notch support and great software. Thanks CoffeeCup staff!
