Ouch! I came here to see if there was a resolution to this because I've just added an SSD for the OS only and am getting ready to install the software... preferably to the old HDD. This is a problem because you can't safely move the actual user profile.
The HDD was the former OS of Windows 7 64bit. I didn't reformat it. So far I've moved the user folders, Docs, Photo, Music, to the HDD by using the location function and linking it to what was already there - then windows changed the "username" to 'My Documents' but it still shows as "name" in the location bar. The old HD still contains the %username%\AppData\Roaming\CoffeeCup Software folder.
SSD for OS only is the new wave. Any ideas? Has anyone successfully done this?
I should have something clever to say... but I don't.
