Placing Images in Tables
Ever notice that images just float on top and never seat down in the table?
I am pretty sure because visual mode allows for layer this created an issue with the floating image on top of the table.
However there is selection you can make to unlock that and get that image in the table.
Here is the steps:
a. Insert your image
2. Right click on image and select from the popup menu Move and unlock Object
3. Now just click and drop it in the table where you want it.
Note - if you want it to float back on top just do it again and it goes back to floating on top.
It really is a Great feature of Visual Mode. "Encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today"

Page size and editing
The safest way to create a page to show up on most people's screens is 740 pxl wide or less. Did you know that you can use the yellow ruler at the top of the page your are creating for a guide on what your page could look like?
Simply move your cursor to the bar between your page and the side bar windows. You will see the cursor turn to double line with two arrows. Click and hold while moving the cursor to the left. Watch the ruler bar at the top of your page. Once the ruler bar shows around 750 on the right edge of the screen, then release the mouse button. Now you can view your page what a typical small screen would view it. You can check your layout and make sure it fits correctly.
Sorry Michael, To show rulers in visual mode you need to do this:
1. From menu click Tools,
2. From Drop Down Menu click Preferences.
3. From Pop up screen, find Miscellaneous and make sure the "Show ruler in visual editor" is checked.
That will make the yellow rulers show up. "Encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today"

Creating Tables
I find that because there is such a huge differents in screens these days that the best way to create my tables is using % instead of pxl. That way if someone has a large screen the content of the table can adjust to fit any screen. This is a general table.
However if I am using tables to place image pieces together like an image map or want the page to look a certain way then you need to use pixels. That way it locks in the layout and just keep in mind that not everyone has large screens. "Encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today"

Default drive for Network will not saving?
Do you keep files on a network or shared drive and you tried to set it as the default in html editor. But everytime you do it defaults back to the coffeecup directory. The default drive is designed for a file on your hard drive or in my computer not my network. So here is an easy fix so that you can use your network drive.
Window XP instructions:
1. From Windows Explorer select from your menu >Tools >Map Network Drive
2. Select a drive letter, to avoid conflict problems, make sure you select a drive that you are not using for anything else!
3. Next click the browse button and select the network folder you want to use.
4. Press Finish.
Now your drive is set - go back into HTML EDITOR and go to the preferences for setting your working directories. You should be able to select the new drive letter you have assigned to that network directory and save it. It should work.
----------- Sorry at this time I don't have the Vista instructions on how to do this. But once I get them then I will post here.

Naming html files
Do not use '/' in a file name: name/.html or something/name.html.

Take care when using special characters when you name a page. The "/" is telling the web server to look into a different directory, which does not exist, so the pages can't be found.
You can us dash - or underscore _, orherwise keep it simple.
