@Brian - Thanks for sharing, but I don't use recent files, I did not know you could do that. I just open a project and all my files show up on left side of window.

As an update, support came back to me with a suggestion I run the program as administrator (not sure what could have changed from earlier in the day to cause me to need to be administrator) so I followed their instructions and it made no difference.

I relayed that information back and then they said I should pay them for support so they could ask me some more questions, wow, I hate to bad mouth support but this is my only experience with them and if I purchase other software from them and have a problem and they want me to pay them while they ask me questions, I will rethink my purchases.

I can overcome their problem by opening the css file in a different editor and making changes so that I don't have to open it in HTML Editor.

Maybe a new version will fix the problem, but support did not know anything about that.

Thanks for all the responses, will just muddle on for now.

Did you put in a support ticket or call them on the phone? I know they have paid support for the phone, but I don't ever recall hearing about anyone being charged for support via the support ticket system. If that's not the way you went, then try that as it's the way most people go for support here.

Other than that, sure wish I had an answer for you, but hopefully the update will fix that issue for you too :)

I looked at Orlando's reply and that is something he offered as an alternative as everything else we have tried has failed. Support over email is always free.

"Telephone appointments are subject to a $15 charge for 30 minutes of support. You're not obligated to call, but we think it might make things a bit easier."

Thanks Scott, but I will just wait to see if support comes up with any further suggestions via email. I was in the support business for almost 30 years and wish we could have charged for every phone conversation we had to find out what was wrong with our software. I would have retired in better shape and would have just hired someone else to deal with developing me a new website, but I like doing it. :)

Not a big deal at this time, I will just wait and see if a new version comes out.

It is not the $15, I have spent too much time researching the problem to continue spending more since they apparently are not sure what is going on and I have developed an alternative for the time being.

This is the first major problem I have had and have been very satisfied with the product. Still works great except for this little flaw. I sure hope it doesn't turn out that it is my fault, but I sent the files and they could find nothing wrong.

Thanks to all for trying to help.:D

Would you happen to have a Google plus script on your page by any chance?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

@Eric, no Google scripts. Have you seen that as a problem? If so, I will also avoid those until the new release.

Thanks,

Do you have any scripts on your page? I have found that these kind of problems can be caused by a bad script. If you have some try commenting them out one by one to see if any of them are the culprit.:)

Try this, just for laughs. Take all your java script and comment it out. Save the page and close the program, open it again and work normally as you would be doing. See if that fixes the issue. Hopefully the update will be soon, so you will not have this issue anymore. :D

I've started lacing my brown leather work boots with bright green and pink laces. This appears to have fixed all the errors I was having with Coffee Cup.
