Hi everybody,
I can't seem to find an upgrade path for the HTML Editor program. I have version 14 at this point.

Thanks,

Paul

The upgrade was offered numerous times though our newsletters earlier this month. Those specials have expired. If you did not upgrade then, your best discount is the 30% coupon sent out on Friday though our newsletter.

Scott,

I can't remember seeing seeing any upgrade notification. The only one I have from May is from the 21st with the subject
"Site Designer V1.05 is ready! [get your upgrade link inside]".

All HTML Editor upgrade specials have ended. We may offer another opportunity later this year, but I cannot really say when that might be. To obtain v15 now you would just need to purchase the Editor again from our website.

Hi Scott,

I have not received any upgrade notification either! I just switched over to a Windows 7 64bit version and needed to reinstall my version 14, but was not able to download that anymore, so now I'm stuck with an older 12 version, don't like that!

If you upgraded to version 14 it is in your downloads. I don't recall it being a paid upgrade but it may have been, but either way it should be in your downloads if you had access to the paid version before.

Check your account again to see if it is there. Check in both your downloads and the apps on the top that you have not purchased yet.

Here are some tips that may help:
1. When looking at your purchased software, be sure to refresh the page just in case you are seeing your cached page instead of the actual one.
2. Be sure you are signed up for the Coffeecup Newsletter.
3. Be sure you have whitelisted the CC newsletter email address. (Usually that is as simple as adding it to your contacts.) Doing so will ensure that the newsletter does not accidentally go to your spam folder.
4. Watch for the newsletters. I get hundreds of emails every day, and have to watch for them. If you have the ability to create "rules" or "filters" for your emails, you might create one to make CC emails stand out in some way.

Hope that helps! :)

Okay, color me stupid but where do I sign up for the CC Newsletter? It may have been an option I declined when installing the software (I get more email already than I can read, so I tend to decline more email) but I have no memory of it. BTW, I have v. 14.1.

If you did not upgrade through our newsletters (last one expired this morning), you would just order the update through our website at http://www.coffeecup.com/html-editor

You can manage your subscriptions here at https://www.coffeecup.com/help/myaccoun … criptions/ Looking at your account, you disabled all email notifications. That is probably why you did not get any of our newsletters. You might want to re-enable that. ;-)

Thank you Scott. Yep, that's what I figured. I rarely choose to add to my 60-80 emails a day. I hope I can pick and choose and not have to accept all (i.e. Newsletters only, not all email notifications). I'll look.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
