Can anyone help with this?

I have an iframe in the footer section of my page, the source of that iframe includes a bookmark ie. src="URL/#bookmark" which works fine, bringing the correct element up in the iframe.

My problem is this is causing the parent page to load at the footer which is not good - any ideas how to rectify this please. :/

In a way I was hoping no-one would ask that.

It is on a page I am working on that is not yet finished. Anyhow I have uploaded it so you can have a look.

Here is the link:

The iframe is in the "Customer Reviews" section. I tried re-naming the id of the iframe to "feedback" & that did'nt work either. :/

Hey Sue nice Layout! You did an excellent job!

Everything seems to working for me. I see the element and when i click on the read all reviews it loads the review page. Not sure what you are seeing or maybe I just misunderstood the issue.

Please elaborate.

Thanks

When I load or refresh the page, it automatically loads at the bottom of the page (the footer - where the iframe is), instead of the top as it should (where the header is).

It is definitely the #review part of the iframe source that is causing this to happen, because if I take it out it loads as normal but the iframe is not showing the element I want.

Here's what I see when I go to your page.

Nothing in the iframe is click-able.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Try clearing your browser cache Sue, also what browser are you using to view it? It looks fine and reloads fine for me on Firefox, and the ratings box shows up just fine where the iframe is (I'm assuming the ratings box is what should be showing, with the reviews totals with stars etc.). Might be the browser itself or just that it's cached and needs cleaning out. :)

I see the same thing Eric sees.

And I see the same - the frame content is working just as I want it & there are no links inside the frame. ;)

It is the bookmark in the iframe that is causing the problem to the WHOLE parent page. The issue is I do not want people to go to the bottom of the page instantly when they visit, I want them to go to the top - then scroll down. The parent page that is NOT the iframe - there are no scoll bars in it ;)

BTW thank you for your compliments earlier Steve. :)

I think there's confusion as to what exactly you are talking about Sue, I don't have any issues with it going to the bottom of the page unless I am already at the bottom of the page when I refresh the page. That is the default function of a browser, to stay put where it is if it's refreshed so that would be working as it should be. Other than that, if I'm at the top of the page and refresh it, it stays there. Can you be more specific? I am checking on the Parent page (the page your link takes me to, not clicking any links as your original post didn't say to do that).
