I was asked to add a schedule to a website the original template was for
2 columns ( basic table with tr and td codes) and the new style is 6 columns
and one column has the words vertical.
They sent me the schedule in both a excel file and a pdf file .
How do I get these files into my website? Do I need to recreate the table
from scratch matching the style or is there a way to copy/ paste or import it.

I think I can match the style but will take time to match up size of the table.

You could save the excel document as Web Page (html). It is rather messy code but will save you lots of time re-creating the table and contents. I have done this with one of my clients and you can see it here.

Thanks for the help and the sample webpage. Since this is still a little new to me and this was the first time I ever tried something like this I viewed the source of the page and seen how it was laid out and then copy/pasted the same section of the published excel file into my web page and I think it looks the way I want it to. There was a column with vertical words that needed edited because it did not translate right but the rest looks fine to me .

I do appreciate your help and the time It saved me. Thanks again

Can I get a link to the page? It would help if I saw what you were doing.

I have not posted the page online yet. The schedule they used last year was only 2 columns so I just updated that page and I will ask them if they want the full version and if the words need to be vertical. Time frame is not much a issue. I can not attach the file for you to see as it is not in the right extensions and the problem appears to be how excel turn it in to a html file.
I will show a idea of what is happening.

from a previous class I took I know the 1st is done by individual tr td codes. I changed the excel file so the columns are the same but the words are read they 2nd way in the same size column( word-wrap to stack multiple words)

You can save Excel spread sheets as PDF also.
