Why are my photos SUCH poor quality? I don't see any settings to change during the wizard and after changing the palette does nothing.

Thanks! Mary

I am having the same problem. Every once in a while they will look O.K but if i make any changes they look horrible. My sites: www.cedarstreetchurch.org, www.lojope.com and www.dteu.info

Definitely not a dumb question. This was brought up a few months before, but unfortunately, I don't think we ever came to a solution.

Adam
I seem to recall that the conclusion had something to do with the optimization settings that people were leaving as too high for fast download. Once that setting had been lowered (for slower download) the results improved considerably.

Possibly improved, but not 100%. In the previous thread I pasted above, I converted the format to gif in Paint Shop Pro, so it already had 256 colors, however I couldn't get the same output in Gif Animator, even after trying all possible optimization settings. This would probably affect only a small few of us though, since the buttons in testing were high in detail. Most buttons aren't so detailed w/ different shades of glow and all. http://www.flashstrap.com
