error msg cannot save a gif file

I am using Gif Animator and have created my gif, but when I try to save, I get the same error msg each time

Access Violation Address 004317CO in Module 'animate~1.EXE" Read of address 0000000028

i have tried re-installing the software that doesnt work

this is a VERY simple animation

please help
