Windows XP pro, GIF Animator Ver 7.6. Unable to save Dove GIF from CoffeeCup Visual Site Designer Graphics folder or any other GIF, edited or unedited. I get the same error as a previous poster which no one ever replied to. The error is"Access Violation Address 004317CO in Module 'animate~1.EXE" Read of address 0000000028". CoffeeCup's ad for Animator says you can make or edit a GIF with Animator. It doesn't say it has to be created with CoffeCup Animator in order to use the editing portion of it as told to me by Orlando Perez from CoffeeCup customer support. According to him the GIFS supplied with CoffeCup Visual Site Designer and HTML Editor 2009 aren't compatible with CoffeeCup Animator. Has anyone been able to save a GIF not created with Animator Ver 7.6 with or without editing it?
Have you tried opening that GIF in an editor such as GIMP, then saving it. Now try using it in the GIF Animator. Let us know if that helps any.

I didn't use GIMP but used Easy GIF Animator Trial which worked as advertised. It edited the GIF and I was able to save it. I opened the edited GIF in CoffeeCup Animator and wasn't able to save it either edited or not edited.
