Hi everyone

I am trying to install the latest update 2.0-226 and getting the following error after the install process when the installer tries to lanch the app:

"There has been an error.
Error running :C\:Programfiles\CoffeeCupSoftware\Resposive Foundation Framer\ Responsive Foundation Framer.exe : child killed: unknown signal
The application will now close"

If I then try to launch the program by clicking the shortcut i get this error:
"The program cant start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime[1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer. Try re-installing the program to fix this problem"

Has anyone seen this before? This is on a Win7 machine. Perhaps I need to install something else?

Sounds like a bad install to me Barry. I would uninstall the software and re-install and see if that fixes the issue. If you still have problems, open a support ticket and we can help you try a few other things.

Thanks Scott that worked perfectly.

Here is the solution if anyone else needs it

1. Reboot to make sure nothing is in memory
2. Go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downloa … x?id=53587 and install the runtime libraries
3. Reboot

I'd like to post some follow-up tips to help others since I needed to take a few extra steps in order to get this working on my machine. If you have a similar problem here is how I fixed it (with Scott's help, of course).
Uninstall Foundation Framer and delete the download file.
Re-download the install file from CoffeeCup.
Use barry's link above to download the latest edition of C++.
Before you install anything uninstall ALL versions of C++.
    Reboot your system.
Go to Downloads and install C++.
Once that's complete re-install Foundation Framer.
That step--especially uninstalling all existing C++ versions--did the trick for me. Thanks again to Scott and barry for helping me get this great app working!
