Okay here it is:
On two different systems more than one file - I have an existing blogger file and when I open it to edit it the blog is empty. My design or style is still there but no entries! I have uploaded an xml and a matching txt file to http://www.rivertime.net/bloghelp
As you can see http://www.rivertime.net/bloghelp/caseyj_updates.html works fine, but now I want to add to and I get the problem above.
1. I have already unchecked the option to hid file extension when troubleshooting a flash photo gallery issue.
2. I have tried different files on different computers.
3. My XP Home install is not yet a month old (bad hard drive = clean install to new hard drive) I am virus and adware free (very certain of that).
Any help is appreciated I really use this a lot!!!

Sorry Kim,
But I am still plodding on with my workaround because exactly the same thing was happening. I just take out the text file and change that and upload that again. I don't touch anything else as the actual display is doing what I want and needs no changing.

Janys, I have a request into Joe @ CC and he is looking at some files for me and I will certainly post the resolution here! Kim

Great Kim,
I am more or less out of action for the moment.......
Having to take a back seat a bit so appreciate any positive moves made by others for the common good!
ciao,

Yes, PLEASE let everyone know what is happening. I have the same thing happening to me...I upload a blog and then when I go to open it to add another entry....blank!
Thanks
Thanks
I recieved email from CC support and I am guessing they were not able to recreate the error so they gave me a few steps to try - although they did not work. Here is what I did to self-diagnose/fix.
1. Any blog I made previously has this issue. Any new blog I create and be sure to use save entry works great.
2. I can edit the .txt file of a previous blog and it works just fine.
I am unsure the underlying issue but any new blogs I create work great just like they should. I have checked all the text files, xml files, etc side by side and found no difference between the one that works and doesn't! I will be recreating two blogs this afternoon and if I can figure it out I will surely update it here!

Hi Kim,
Any moves forward on this yet?
I have to chicken out and just do the text update/upload!
Depending heavily on someone else's painful first hand experience for this one!! I just ran out of time and have the tourist season on my head already!

Janys, re-replied to customer care here at CC, thinking about shooting Scott an email, now that I realize it's just not me.
If you are experiencing this could you post your OS, Blogger version and maybe email me a set of files so that I can package it all in an email for Scott or Customer Care here at CC? Thanks, power in numbers!

Kim,
So the OS is Windows XP, the Blogger is the 45R version, and I will see if I can get the files off to you (but to where?) Shall I use your e-mail on your site?
