Hi all,
Is it possible to use CCFB as sort of a lite cms for archiving things such as brief devotionals. I was hoping to add a page to my ministry website that offers devotionals and an archive of previous posts, their dates and links. At the moment, I'm incorporating Wordpress to get the job done, but I'd prefer working within the confines of CC and VSD in order to maintain a consistant look.
Running CC VSD on WinXP. Website in developement.
Thanks guys,
Matthew

Hi Mr.Mathew,
But I am curious as I do not use FB but if you add you devotionals from the oldest to the newest, are they not able to scroll back to the oldest?

Hiya Matthew,
Although I do think you can use the Flash Blogger for creating a running list of devotionals etc. Do keep in mind that this is just a script running on your page, it has no interaction other than scrolling once it's on the page so it's by far nothing near what a CMS can do. If you're looking for interaction that your visitors can input things into, then you won't be able to use CC software for that. At this time there is no software that CC has that allows dynamic input from the users.
Now if you're just looking for a way to list the devotionals that you receive from your members and visitors that call them in or email them or however your receive them, and to be able to just list an archive of the previous posts listed on the website, then the FB will do that quite nicely I believe.

Thanks Jo Ann, and Bruzer. I think you've ansered my question. Haven't actually purchased CCFB yet, but good to be informed by the community first. I realize there's a full trial version of the software, so I'll have to give it a play before committing. I am however, registered for the CC News Flash, so I might even be able to manipulate it for a simplistic scroll through of past devotional entries and their links.
Anyway, thanks again guys!

Yes you can scroll back and forth in flash blogger.
