Blog Entry Limitation?

Is there a limit to how long (characters/words) a blog entry can be? The last few words on my latest entry didn't show up when I previewed the blog (from VSD, though the entire paragraph showed up just fine in the Blogger preview). I tried making the blog size longer (in the blog program and also the html box in VSD), but it still wouldn't show the last 3 or 4 words. I put it back to it's original size (445px w by 300px h) and took out part of a previous sentence to shorten the paragraph. Everything is there now, but it would be good to know what's going to work - or not for next time.

I don't have an answer for you (a help ticket to the developers would probably answer that) but I wanted to tell you that your paintings are wonderful. I envy your talent. :) CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!

Thank you very much, Tom! One of these days I'm going to get that site finished :P - I really need to get a lot of new artwork on there!
I was hoping someone who has used the blogging software would be able to tell me if they've been able to make long posts, or if they've noticed things get cut off after a certain point. I don't want to bug the developers if this is just the way it is, rather than some sort of glitch. I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by. (Douglas Adams)

Well, that's interesting. Thanks for doing that, Bruzer. I think I'll try un-installing and a new software download - see if that makes any difference - before I put in a support ticket.

Yea, there should not be a limit. I used to run my wifes journalism articles with that progam, which took up a pretty sizable page. The philosopher has not done philosophy until he has acted upon the mere conviction of his idea; for proof of the theory is in the act, not the idea.

Good to know, Eric. I was wondering if it would be a good way for someone to be able to do a monthly newsletter on his site (sort of like a cms), but it needed to be able to handle more than 1 - 2 short paragraphs. I have done many paragraphs and no problems. I do noticed on your website that the red buttons at the bottom are cut off. You might want to reduce the size of the buttons to 20 pixel high. Maybe even 19 if you want to make sure the whole button shows.

Nice looking website :) "Encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today"
