Quality of gif transparency is poor

Hi,

I always find when I insert gifs that the transparency in the final swf is very poor, with green spots & edges.

I can't find a way to improve this, my gifs are cut out well from their backgrounds & look great as png's but I can't use those in firestarter.

Any tips as to how to get high quality transparency using this program?

Make sure you test your gifs on lite and dark backgrounds before you use them. Some used on a lite background will totally fail if placed on a dark one.:) I can't hear what I'm looking at when it's so easy to overlook something I'm not looking for.
