We we are all finding out that in the latest version of adobe flash player Fire Starter is not working. Many of us have dozens of websites for clients that utilize fire starter in some way or another. We need options and answers for our clients right now when they ask why is my site down? or why is there a giant white box in the middle of my home page where the flash used to be. I just counted I have at least six websites that the home page is developed around an animation created in fire starter not to mention the other sites that use fire starter animations in a less direct fashion. I need to figure some thing out quick and I am at a very least going to need answers for my clients.
1. Is there a good alternative to fire starter from another software company that will work in the latest version of adobe?
2. What are the odds adobe resolves this problem? How long should I wait?!?! Have they addressed it? I did fill out the complain form along with others...will they fix this?
3. Coffee Cup is officially not going to fix this on there end?!?
I know I am not the only person in this situation...what are you guys going to do?

I have only used Firestarter on a limited basis, mostly because I don't use Flash in websites. But, I do a have few that have stopped working just as yours have.
1. Is there a good alternative? No. I have a couple other Flash Banner programs and the banners made with them have also quit working. I also have Adobe Flash CS5, but I could build 10 projects in FS in the same time to build 1 in it.
2. Adobe? Banks and Mortgage companies care more about their customers problems.
3. I've always thought Firestarter was one of the best programs CC ever came out with (other than Form Builder, but that's another thread). I have re-installed my FS 6.7, opened the projects built in 7.3,resaved them back and they worked for me. FF 7.0.1, IE 9.0.8, Safari 5.1.1, and Chrome. Don't know if it will work for all your projects or if you have an older version of FS, but it's worth a try to keep things running while looking for a longer term solution.
