Hi, just purchased firestarter and I'm hoping it can help me make a nice flash banner advertisement for my business and website. Here are some examples of what I'm looking to accomplish.

Please let me know if this is possible and where to begin. I'm still trying to learn this type of stuff so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The answer is yes. Watch all 5 How To videos (maybe twice) From there it will take a bit of trial and error, but you should get there. ***********************************************

Well I watched the videos multiple times and I'm still having trouble.

How do you make different frames for text and pictures? When I add the text or pictures they are all in the same frame and on top of each other. I tried moving the bars, adding different affects, and still nothing. I gotta be doing something wrong.

I'm trying to get one frame of text in and then have it go away, then another set of text, then some pictures or whatever else I can come up with.

Help please. :mad:

I think I finally got a grip on what to do. Thanks

Check it out on my main page below the scrolling flash.

Now I figured out how to put it on my site through the html code, but how can I put it on other sites that just ask for a file/server location or image address?

you could give them an iframe link I suppose
<iframe src="http://www.eaperformanceparts.com/EA Banner.html" width="470" height="100" frameborder="0" scrolling="no">

nice banner BTW. :) "It's A Smart Person That Asks"

Thanks

I tried the iframe link you provided but that did not work. Is there a particular url I can use?

EA,
that worked for me-here's an example
http://kellyinfo.com/Volney/
scroll down to bottom-I will remove after you've seen it.
the src/url you would use would be where your firestarter project's html file is. "It's A Smart Person That Asks"
