Greetings
Is there a replay function in Firefighter? What I would like to do is play the movie once let it stop and have an option for the visitor to replay if they would like. I dont want to re-load the page.

this can be done by using text or image and then adding a hotspot over whichever, and link it to a frame.

How do you do the same thing at the start of the movie, to play the movie? (without it automatically starting when the page loads)
I tried adding a Play Movie hotspot but the movie just starts up anyway.

You have to add a Stop Movie action first. Select Movie > Add Action > Stop Movie Action, and make sure it's at the very beginning of the timeline. Then you can add hotspots to Play Movie or Jump to Frame.
