I'm using VSD, Direct FTP, and Firestarter.
Host: Godaddy.com
OS: Vista 32 (SP2)

I built a little flash banner for the site and can't get it to show in any browsers. I'm sure it's something ridiculously simple.

So far, I've loaded all 4 files into the directory with my index file, and used the html insertion tool in VSD (then saved the file in VSD and uploaded it with DirectFTP).

It's just a big white block. Nothing more. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Ok. I got it figured out. Just for the sake of any future searches who can't find a good answer, the html code that appears after you save the project does not work. You actually have to copy the html code from Movie>View HTML.

Check to see if you have the fix for IE (not sure exactly what it is called in some of the CC Programs) checked in it. Not sure that program has that option even, but I know that a few of the others do and if it's checked it spits out the wrong code. Don't know if that's it, but thought I'd throw that out there in case it is :) Jo Ann

Just a little note, I always save a project by selecting " save fire project" as this will make the swf, and html files, then open in html editor and copy the code or copy after the save. I never use the Banner Wizard-just the movie wizard as you can always make it the size of the banner anyway. I also make a folder in my document named firestarter to save all my projects in so I don't lose them when looking. Ok enough me, me, me lol "It's A Smart Person That Asks"
