I just installed ver2.2 of CoffeeCup Free DHTML Menu Builder but was disappointed that it still doesn't include the ability to change the order of menu items. Is there a plan to include this capability in a future release? Aside from that one missing feature, this is an awesome menu creation tool!
We are actually going to be slowly phasing this program out, so there will be no new features added to this program. It will be replaced with a new CSS Menu Designer that basically operates the same way but completely in CSS. You can see our first version inside of the latest HTML Editor.
Give it a try, you will love it

The new CSS Menu Designer is not a freebee though I take it? Will there still be support for the DHTML Menu program? I just started using it myself and now your phasing it out?
One would have to assume that as long as they offer it , it gets support, wouldn't you think so Frank. That's my guess!

CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!
Hi Scott,
Just logged in to tell that this tool is great.
I hope that in the CSS Version there will be the possibility of determining the placement anywhere in the page.
Robert
That's very interesting Scott about the DHTML editor been phased out and been replaced by the CSS menu. I actually prefer the DHTML menu creator. I have found on the CSS menu builder a problem when you want to put a border round the menu, do you know of this being a problem usually, or is it just me?

Thanks

Hi Scott,
This tool is great. But I hope that in the CSS Version there will be the possibility of determining the placement anywhere in the page.
And to put any png images as Background for each button zone. Would be awesome!!!!!!!!

The DHTML Menu Editor (either Installer or version 2.2) does not seem to work with Windows 7 (32-bit). Used an old menu I created with Windows XP and tried to Preview it. The Browser can't find the ~dhtml.htm file to open. Checked the path and sure enough, it doesn't exist. Is there a fix?
Firefox can't find the file at /C:/Program Files/CoffeeCup Software/DHTMLmenu/~dhtml.htm.
