Hi, not a major problem, but I'm building this site www.maelorec.co.uk and have made a menu bar in DHTML Menu Builder which I am happy with. However, mouseover the Showjumping button and the sub menu shifts to the left. Any ideas?

I changed the width to 115 and it looked good.:)

<div style="position: absolute; visibility: hidden; background-color: rgb(0, 0, 0); width: 115px; height: 49px; font-family: Tahoma,Verdana,Arial; font-weight: normal; font-style: normal; font-size: 10pt; z-index: 102; top: 302px; left: 697px;">

<div style="position: absolute; visibility: inherit; overflow: hidden; cursor: pointer; color: rgb(255, 255, 255); background-color: rgb(0, 0, 0); text-align: center; width: 115px; height: 16px; padding-left: 3px; padding-top: 4px; left: 3px; top: 3px;">Event dates</div>

<div style="position: absolute; visibility: inherit; overflow: hidden; cursor: pointer; color: rgb(255, 255, 255); background-color: rgb(0, 0, 0); text-align: center; width: 115px; height: 16px; padding-left: 3px; padding-top: 4px; left: 3px; top: 26px;">Results</div>
I can't hear what I'm looking at when it's so easy to overlook something I'm not looking for.

Hi Eric, thanks for this, do I change it in the code, or in the DHTML builder itself?

I would edit the code now to get the menu to appear the way you want then play around with the builder to see if you can fix it through that.:) I can't hear what I'm looking at when it's so easy to overlook something I'm not looking for.

Janet, I looked at your site in FF 3.6, IE 8, Opera 10.63, Safari 5.0.4 and Chrome 10.0. In IE and Opera the menu is not visible. In the other browsers the menu is too long as it is sticking out from the design on the right side. But the submenus are displayed below each top menu.

I have not gone into why the menu is not visible in IE, but the problem with Opera is known for some time. I would actually advise against using the DHTML Menu builder. It is not supported by CC any more.

If you have the HTML Editor, you can create the same nice looking menu in the new css menu builder which is incorporated into the html Editor. You can make it look exactly the same as the old dhtml one. The dhtml technology is old and slow loading, whereas the css menu will load fast on your page.

Sorry to 'ruin your day', but it's better to look for something better now than when you have created everything and launched it, and then discover the failings. Ha en riktig god dag!

I agree with Zipper about the css menu builder in the CC html Editor.

If you want something else, you could check out this service: http://www.cssmenubuilder.com/home

or just google "css menu builder". Ha en riktig god dag!
