Hello everyone and hope is all going well for you. I built a menu and looks ok in all the browers except Opera..all the Opera's. I know Opera seems to be having some problems with their upgrades now but when I test it in three of their browers the menu doesn't show up.
I would appreciate your help.
Thanks in advance,

Hiya Lewis,

It's always a good idea to include a link to your page with your code on it so people can take a look at it and see if they can tell what might be wrong better :) Jo Ann

Hi Jo Ann and thanks for your response. I pulled the site down tonight and started transferring it into Expression Web and moving it to different nameservers.
I made a test page in Frontpage and put the menu up to see how it would look. I checked it in all the browsers and Opera is the only one it wouldn't show up in.
I did nothing to the codes, just pasted them into Frontpage and published them.
It should be up and running again in a few days.
Thanks in advance,
Lewis

No problem, when you get it back up do put a link here for us so we can help you figure it out easier. In the meantime someone may have some ideas that we aren't aware of too :) Jo Ann

I am also hoping for an update on this. I had found another post that suggested replacing the DAT file, which I did, but it still doesn't show up.

The error console for Opera shows this:
Inline script compilation
Syntax error at line 2 while loading
<script type='text/j
expected expression, got '<'

I searched online and one site said Opera scripts had to be named user.js but I was afraid that would change it on the other browsers. Any ideas or suggestions appreciated!

The last thing I've heard about the DHTML Menu builder is that it has become redundant after the new CSS menu builder has become a part of the HTML Editor. Ha en riktig god dag!

CSS menus are the better choice.

CSS > DHTML >>>>>>>>> Flash :) CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!

So why doesn't Coffee Cup release a CSS menu builder software? I would gladly pay $15 to $25 to have a CSS menu builder similar to the DHTML menu builder software, but I have no desire at all to shell out the money for HTML Editor because I would never use it, and the CSS menu isn't worth the price tag of the entire program.

The DHTML menus work great in everything except Opera (even still) - I'd love to switch to CSS if there were a simple software to do it. Come on Coffee Cup... how about it?

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
