Hi Darce
Thank you for looking into this. Although I appreciate their suggestions, I did not try Bill or Inger's methods because they did not address what I am hoping to achieve. The DHTML menu builder works great in my web building software, copying the clipboarded code into an HTML object, so DHTML compatability is not an issue for me. I just want to over-ride the predetermined positioning.
So what does all this mean? It looks like you are saying it cannot be done in VSD, but I do not use VSD. Here is where a DHTML menu I built is currently in use:

Because I had to center it inside the box for depth effect, it took several tries to get it just right. It would be nice to avoid this by sizing an html object box the same as the menu, drag the html menu box and drop it exactly where the menu should be positioned, then import the menu code. I did precisely this with the flash form and the hit counter on the same site.

Hi Jim,
I just start using Coffecups DHTML Menu Builder and got the same probleme as you mentioned with the placement of the Menu in the webpage.
Now I've visited your site: http://www.bdvwa.org/ and I'm wondering how you managed to place your menu in your page?
You did it with the Coffecups DHTML Menu Builder?

Hi Bob
That post is 2 years old. I no longer use DHTML Menu Builder. In fact, the current website is done by someone else. I now use JS Cook menu which is also free.

Rob, the DHTML menu builder has become sort of old fashioned in its technology. Besides, it does not play well with some browsers, Opera being among them.
If you have the HTML Editor you will find a css menu builder as part of it. You can do the same things with it as with the old dhtml one, but it's based on CSS and therefore much more user friendly (works in all browsers). Ha en riktig god dag!
