i'm sure this is simple to some but i'm having an issue. I would like to be able to add some of the posted plug ins to modify my html but with all of them they ask to find the root folder or file in which to add the .zip files too. I've opened all of my vsd files under my program files on the computer and can't seem to miss this. I'm sure i'm over thinking it but could use some help please.

Not sure exactly what you are asking for. VSD does not use 'plug-ins'. If you are trying to add files, pictures and such to VSD, then on the top menu select Edit/Add Files. There you can create folders and add files that will be added to your VSD site.

If you are trying to add specific code or something, then after you save you VSD site there will be a folder titled yoursitename_website

In that folder are the HTML files and other files that are uploaded when you publish your website.

Your ROOT FOLDER is the folder that you upload your site to.Such as : http://yourdomain.com

Hope this helps, let me know if you still need more information.

...some of the posted plug ins...

I don't know what the 'posted plug-ins' are, but you can use the Add HTML tool along with the Add Files and Edit Header options in VSD to add outside scripts and code snippets. If you use VSD's tools, the program will load the files for you.
If you tell us what you're wanting to install, there may be someone here with experience of that particular item who could help you. ;)

If you need help with jquery, keep an eye on this mans site. He's a jquery nut! Lot's of good examples and shows how to intergrate them into VSD.

Jeffrey, why don't you pick something and give it a try? A slideshow for example... Once you've worked through the steps, you'll know how to add just about anything to your site. ;)
Have fun with it!
