Hey everyone!
We just released a very nice update to CoffeeCup Visual Site Designer that includes not only some rather interesting bug fixes, but also has major changes to the HTML markup that the software generates. For all intents and purposes, your website should render almost identically under all major browsers and operating systems. However, there are still a few things you need to understand about how browsers and operating systems render a website.
For this reason, we have two articles here that you
MUST read so you understand a bit more on what is going on and why things work the way they do:
The nitty gritty details of version 7.0 Build 22:- Overhauled the HTML markup
- Files that you link to using the Link function are now HTML encoded.
- Fixed issue with the Buttonize Save Button design crashing the program.
- Fixed issue with installing themes.
- Fixed issue with Background Fill images that are over 1MB (yikes)
causing the program to crash.
- Fixed issue with publishing to S-Drive after changing your
password, causing the program to crash.
- Fixed issue with HTML files being duplicated inside of the files folder.
- Fixed links to Flash applications in the Tools Menu.
- Removed duplicate copy of themes installed in the C:\Program
Files\CoffeeCup Software\Visual Site Designer\Themes folder.
- Added more checks to prevent the "Encountered an Improper
Argument" & "Parameter is Incorrect" errors.
NOTE: For this update, we recommend that you uninstall any
previous version first before installing the update.
