Hi michael,
Anything created with VSD will need to be redone with what ever app you decide to use. CC will be releasing a new app Call RSD Responsive Site Designer that will make it easier for non coders to rebuild their sites to be responsive.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

This is a site I built for my work.(RSD)

This is my personal site used for testing and as an easy way to share photos.(RLM imported to RSD)

In the meantime, Responsive Layout Maker will work perfectly with Responsive Site Designer, so if you create your site now with RLM, you will be able to use it later with RSD.

RLM is primarily a layout maker with extra features. You create nearly everything in RLM, export, and make final adjustments with HTML Editor. If you want some help with it, you can email me at support@usconsumernet.org.

Did you know that Web Form Builder can be used for both simple and complicated forms and that it's not limited to the default fonts and buttons? Take a look at a form we developed for WindowTinting.com.

I'm struggling with if better to wait until the app is available or start with layout maker. I really want something that is "simple" as VSD and looking at the response maker, I'm not grasping the concept to end product with a new site. Any thoughts? Not knowing how long until the site designer is released, I'm not in huge hurry to change and can wait a while.

thanks
Michael

If you have the means to get the RLMP I would highly suggest it, or even the little basic version of it that is available now.

The reason I say this is because you are not going to find the "ease of use" that you have right now with VSD as it is a totally different setup and will be very much like RLM is as far as settings and such. Although there is some drag and drop to RLM and I would imagine in the site designer when it's released, it will most likely be a lot of settings adjusting like RLM is and the drag and drop is mostly adding the elements themselves to the page. You will need to set up the rest of the settings for that element manually. There may be some things a little easier than RLM, but I'm not expecting it to be much different in how it works so it's really a good idea to jump in there and at least play with RLM for a while and see how it works so you are ready when the designer program is released. Just my opinion of course. :)
