Non-Standard Fonts & Quality Graphic

Hi CoffeeCuppers!
I have a small business with a placeholder web site, nothing too fancy. The problem is that the company logo consists of non-internet standard fonts. I'm aware of the instructions to 'Allow Advanced Text' and then use effect or fills to change it from text to a graphic. Unfortunately I've messed with it quite a bit and nothing successful happens. The instructions date from a sticky in the forum dated a couple of years ago and I'm wondering if there is something I'm missing. For one thing the 'Drop Shadow' box is always grayed out and unusable although that is what the instructions say to use.
On the same subject what other software do folks use to create a non-standard text logo and then generate a high quality graphic? I have a not so high quality graphic in there now.

OK, so I finally realized I had to have the graphics files loaded onto the ISP's servers along with the html pages in the correct ISP directories, etc etc.
