I've read the tutorial and tried to follow posts but still have no easy guide to make mouseover really work for me.
I want to: view original in thumbnail size and when the mouse hovers over it I want to view a much larger version of the same image with a text description added.

At present I am achieving something like this only by creating a whole new page as a click on link,
instead of the bigger image showing up in mouseover - feels rather 'clunky', not smooth.

Can anyone show me a site they build in VSD which uses mouseover as described above?

It not only shows this, but the use of anchors (with HTML) and of a pop-up (with javascript and HTML) as well. You can download the VSD design from the site..
BTW, I think the javascript pop-up is far more suited to show an image in another window. You can define the size of the window to be exactly as large as your image...

thanks for your reply. I clicked on the link and then opened the file in vsd and noted the settings for mouseover and object dialogue boxes. A couple of things bother me, still:

- my mouseover object is a bigger version of the original object - a photo in fact, thus when I add the 'button text' it appears on top of the photo and is therefore not readable and it spoils the photo as it is positioned centrally in the photo. It seems button text isn't repositional.

Can you point me to one of your sites where mouseover works eg bringin up a big photo after hovering over a thumbnail.

You mention the 'javascript pop up' what or where do I find out about this?
