My links (on just one page) are suddenly not working. I've checked it on VSD but everything looks like it is fine. I haven't made any updates or changes to this page for quite a while, so I'm not sure what happened. Can you please take a look?

I don't know a lot about VSD but looks like that has all been done with Advanced Text maybe? I know whenever someone is complaining about text ending up being an image I believe the answer has been to the order of "don't use Advanced Text". The reason I say this is because it's not about your links not working, it's about the entire page content is actually one large image so unlike the rest of the pages, there actually are no links on that page.

Hopefully someone else will chime in if that's not the issue as I'm guessing at the cause, but the issue that has "been" caused somehow is that the entire page is an image, not text. Hope that helps some. :)

Hi Donna, it seems that you are using an image for that entire content section of the page that is why they are not working. Try using the text box element to place your content then highlight the words you want to become links and click the Link button at the top and input your target location. Using an image for your content is a bad idea, not only is it impossible to hyperlink anything it is very bad for Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

Hope this helps

I'm not sure I understand. It looks and functions like a text for me - completely editable. I did enable "Allow advanced text" but I did that when I first built the page and it still shows up that way. It was working up until just this last week and I don't think that I've changed anything. Is there a button or something that I could have pressed? (Sorry - I am really uneducated about these things.)

The advanced text changes whatever you have selected into images. And it seems that your entire center area is one large image now. Therefore removing the links you have created. I would use the advance text sparingly if possible and remove the advance text from the links.

Just my 2 cents here... The 'Advanced Text' option is used when you use a non-web safe font. Not all text fonts look the same between computers and/or browsers. To get the web page to look the same for everyone advanced text can be used. It changes the text to a graphic that is displayed and looks the same for everyone. I would check and insure that you are using a 'web safe' font. Web safe fonts are cross browser compatible and look the same on various computers.

If you want to stay with what you have and are happy with it, then use another CoffeeCup product called 'Image Mapper'. With that you can load the picture and select ( or map ) portions of the picture and add your links. It's not the best way to do it, but it works. http://www.coffeecup.com/image-mapper/

I would just turn off the advance text and find a web safe font...
