Images not showing properly - Post ID...

Hi everyone
Quick Question - why would my images appear all blurry and blotchy (basically non-recognisable) when I upload my site? Some are ok but others are not. Most are jpg's - there might be a png or two in there as well. Could the 'arranging' of images cause problems? IE - one image 'sent to back' behind another? I don't think it is this.
I have uploaded straight from Virtual Site Designer. Also opened in a html editor and checked location paths etc - they all seem ok. Tried uploading from the html editor - same result.
Any Ideas?
Kind Regards
Tony

Make your images the size you want them before you add them to your site.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Thanks for taking time to reply Eric. I am at my wits end trying to figure this out. I have tried importing images at the correct size but no difference. I deleted images and now have only uploaded shapes, text and background. It is still doing it.

I would appreciate any advice.

It sounds like your files have gone out of sync. Here is what I would like you to do.

1. Go to the Publish Menu and select FTP Account Settings and select your FTP Account.

2. Verify that all information is correct and the Remote Folder path is not empty. Typically you would enter in a / , /public_html or /www here but you need to confirm with your hosting provider what the correct path is. IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT THIS PATH IS CORRECT.

3. Go to the Publish Menu and select Choose a Publishing Destination and select your FTP Account and then click Save.

4. Finally, go to the Publish Menu and select Re-Sync Website.

With any luck, everything should be back to normal.

I just re-uploaded and still a problem. Now the images are appearing all over the place - not lining up where they should. At least they are not blurry now.
