what is the best way to keep the server organized? When you all make changes within VSD do you delete or rename the old file on the server and save the new file. Also, with files/images do you delete or rename that folder and save the new files/images folder?

Also, do you create a folder on the server for each page of your website?

Thanks,
yeto

I hit the publish button in VSD and sit back and watch the magic.:cool:

VSD will overwrite some files, create new ones, and delete old unused files, as Scott says, automagically! Don't use cPanel. Just create your site in VSD, setup your FTP profile and use the 'publish' button as Eric suggests. Best way to keep everything where it is suppose to be! :cool:

If I need sub folders to add special content then I do that through the "Add files" tool.

Hi,

Just curious as to why the following is happening"

On my index page VSD is creating html code for images like the following:
src="files/files/IMG 1.jpg"

On all other pages the html code for images is:
src="files/IMG 9.jpg"

Why is VSD for the index page creating files/files versus just one files/ like on all other pages?

Thanks,
yeto
