I used Coffee Cup Photo Gallery and it worked for my PC. It did not work for my son's iPad.
So..................after some internet reading and testing 5 different products I found that I could
get good results with JavaScript SlideShow Maker by Magic Hills and HTML5 SlideShow Maker by AnnSoft.
It took a fair amount of trial and effort learning but I was able to "hook" them up with VSD. I now have all
3 version on my website showing 30 garden photos. I thought that I would pass this on to anyone who need a way to
connect VSD with HTML5/JavaScript without being a HTML guru.

The reason cc Photo Gallery does not work on an iPad ( or any Apple device ) is that it is FLASH and Apple does not support FLASH. You did good moving away from that to HTML5/Java and/or jquery. That is the way to go.

Having said that ... if you host your cc Photo Gallery on CoffeeCups S-Drive, you can create an HTML photo gallery that will display for you. To do this though, you need a paid version of the S-Drive. Not the free account.

Just a little more info for others that may be looking . . .

Yes you can get CC S-Drive, but not practical if you already have a website name and have paid for a year for its server housing.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
