I am wanting to have a slideshow that plays on my homepage automatically, with some cool looking transitions, rotating between a handful of images. I want text on each pic and I want to be able to link each image to a different page of the website. What is the best / most simple way to do this. Thanks

Hi Philip,

If you have an S-drive account I would suggest using Coffeecups HTML 5 gallery to put these on you webpage. If you dont have an S-Drive account I would suggest looking at WOW Slider. It is a very nice application that is easy to use and input into a VSD website.

What exactly is an S-drive account. What type of cost is involved with that. The WOW slider you mentioned looks good, but we would be using it for a commercial website, and cannot justify the $300 price tag. I was hoping to continue using coffeecup software, since VSD is so easy to use. Any other suggestions ?

S-Drive account is what Coffeecup sells you can find more in formation here:

https://www.coffeecup.com/sdrive/plans/

You can also get wow slider for alot cheaper than the $299. You can get it for as low as $70 for commercial use. If you sign up for their email they will often provide special deals and you can get it for much cheaper.

WOW does not cost $300 for commercial use. Only for the 'Enterprise Edition'.
You can buy WOW Slider for unlimited website for $99 or single website for $69. Comes with 1 year free upgrades. Can be used on Commercial sites.

Yep enterprise is only if you have an army of website developers that are using the product on multiple machines for multiple websites. Other than that Gunsmoke is right! Again haha.:D

Another thing you might consider is the 'Mega-Bundle'. Has about 13 utilities for 1 price. Actually just looked it up. Here's the current deal I found... http://wowslider.com/mega.html

If you're going to spend $100 anyway, might as well spend $150!

Or you can use one of the other JQuery sliders out there that are free.
Google JQuery image slider.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
