I went ahead and downloaded the FTP software that CC has. Maybe that will help. It is more like what the people at iPage are used to seeing and are familiar with.

OK Steve...tell me what you FTP menu looks like....just make up something for the password and private info.
Here is what they told me to do.

I go to the top Menu....Publish....Select FTP Account Settings

Nickname: Here, I give it a name.
Server: They told me to type in: ftp.ipage.com
Username: Here they told me to type in my username associated with my entire iPage account. This is the one I use to log in with. I typed that in and they have verified it many times to be correct.
Password: I cut and paste that, and it is correct.
Remote Folder: They told me to do this: /nameofspecificwebsite/
Port 21. Use Passive Voice.

That is what I do. It has worked sometimes, and sometimes it doesn't. The people at iPage are generally baffled by it all.
Do you see anything wrong with what I'm doing in those examples?

Are you setting up a new connection for each site and selecting it and then saving the site in VSD so it uses that connection?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

In the FTP window I click the Green "Plus" box on the lower left. That lets me create connection for each domain. I worked with it some more and it's still sending Page A to Page B's web address, and vice versa, and sometimes I till try it and several go to Page A's web address. I'll work with it some more and it will reverse.

I can't understand what the deal is. In those rare times when a web page actually shows up it the right web address, I go back to FTP in CC and see what that connection looks like, and try to do the same pattern for each of them in their own respective FTP connection menus, but so far it is hit or miss. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. I've about run out of things to try, because I don't see a method to the madness or see anything that works consistently on all of the domains.

Quick thought...are you running the software as 'Administrator' ? Every time ?

This is what I use in VSD ...

My domain is gunsmoke.me so that is what I enter in the 'Server' box
Make sure you use 'Port:21' and 'Passive' mode.
Of course, edit the 'Remote Folder' to your website name. Don't use a trailing slash ( or at least I never do... )

If you run VSD with administrator rights, then this should work unless something else is interfering with it.

Yes, I am running it as administrator every time.

The only thing I can think of now is maybe a name got changed in iPage. So, when I type in the name that it should direct to, should that be the name of the folder in iPage, or would it be the name of a file inside the iPage folder? I've gotten one to publish successfully since my last post, but I don't see anything different about what I did, than with the ones that still won't publish correctly.

If your settings are correct, then Steve may be your only answer to that as he deals with them. I would think it would be much like any other host, but I may be wrong ...

They told me to type in "ftp.iPage.com" when it says "Server." I use Port 21 and Passive mode. Where it says "Remote Folder" I type in /nameofdomain/ That is how we finally got it to work the first time, but it hasn't proven to be consistent.

Also, right now I have the CC Direct FTP program open. This is the program with the split screen....I have my CC files on the left and the iPage account on the right. Is all I have to do is drag and drop from left to right...and it will automatically upload into iPage....and then it automatically uploads that new info into the iPage folder and it is automatically uploaded and published on line?

What should I look for here? Should the iPage FOLDER be the name of the Domain? Should a file inside iPage be the Domain name? At this point I need to start checking for exact spellings and names, because not much else is working. And when it does work I have no idea what I did different that I'm not doing on all the other Domains.

Oh, well....now none of the sites will show up. I'm getting a "403 forbidden" message.
