Hi. I'm using VSD to design & maintain my company's website. I upload through VDS to a FTP account. When I preview each page they look fine. When I upload the pages it appears to process about half way through the upload of the entire website and then I get an upload error. The error tells me to check my Firewall (it's off when I upload), use Passive Mode in my settings (I do), and check my server settings (they are correct). The uploading stops there and I am left with a great looking Home page and each page after that missing more and more elements. Can you please help?

Try configuring the shortcut to always run as administrator.
Here's how:

1. Right-click the shortcut icon, and click Properties.
2. Click the Compatibility tab.
3. Here, put a check mark by Run This Program as an Administrator.
4. Next, put a check mark next to Run This Program in Compatibility Mode For: and ensure Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2 is selected.
5. Click OK.
