I used the template Curlique for my website www.BarbsBeads.net I like it, however, on the home page on IE & AOL browsers, the text overlaps the video . It looks great on Firefox. How can I remedy this without rebuilding the site? Any suggestions?

If you want something ZERO cost, stick with VSD. If you want to be compatible with all browsers and devices, you need to use better tools that can accomplish the task. You will need to rebuild all your sites from scratch in RLM.

I like your site. However, I use Firefox v31.0 and the video overlaps the text there, too. What version of FF are you using?

I hope this info. help as I know it is frustrating to get everything lined up just right.

**edit...it looks fine on my laptop in ff 31...desktop is the issue...as Scott mentioned...screen size, etc. will affect positioning.

I'm using 31.1, Mark. FF says I have the latest version.

It looks like that what it shows on the template is what it'll be online. I "told" it to show it to me with IE or should I use a different browser?

Barbara, for the time being, you could try changing your font from Arial Black to just plain Arial. Then leave some space around your text boxes. Make sure the outlines don't overlap anything else (photos, videos, other text).
In the long run, $99 for something that will help you create a site that's viewable on mobile devices as well as computers is well worth it. Static sites are going the way of the dinosaurs.

Barbara, do you view your page in the other browsers before you publish it? I have IE, Firefox, Safari, Opera and Chrome that I have set in the previewer. I hav hard to play with text size and style at times as well as the text box siz and location to get the page to view the same in the different browsers.
Just a thought.
