I have used buttonize before with no problem. Today, whatever button I make has a black square background behind it when I click on 'preview". It's not there when I create the button.

Are you placing it over another image? If your using png's or gifs in VSD they will have a black border in preview for design reasons. They won't show on the live site.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Hi Eric,

Here is a link to the live site. It does have the black box around it.

I'm confused. The entire page background is black so which button has a black border is kind of hard to tell. :D

@Gunsmoke

I think he is referring to the right hand side star. See how it cast a black background behind the image.

Ah! That actually happens a lot in VSD. If you buttonize on any kind of background there is an area that is copied with it. Make your button on a pure black background and that should disappear. I think there are threads that talk about that kind of thing. It's an ongoing issue.

Ah! Again. If you are trying to make that a plain star, without the black background, you need a transparent PNG of that star. Using GIMP you can remove that black and have just the star. Then save as a transparent PNG. Then you can put that on any image you want.
