Styles are now called Themes. Each theme is a .sct file which is actually a zip file. You can open that and make any changes you like.

NOTE: any changes made to theme are not supported ;) ~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~

Hi,

Does anyone know the default sizes [ratio] of the thumbnail and large
images [not light box]. I notice the image boxes reveal image size 204x200 [I suppose a square]

I like to use white background anyway, but was thinking about
the perspective more than the actual size, to keep the ratio of the uploaded images in line with the default ratio of the program, to avoid distortion,
or is the ratio worked out and optimized by the program??

Thanks,
Baz.

How to add a favicon to a shop, posting here at Scott's suggestion

Locate the following file

\ccdata\php\common.inc.php

after the line that reads

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />

insert the following

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico" />

Upload back to the correct location, then upload a suitable favicon.ico file into the shop root

I found the this link elsewhere on your forums, it seems a good'un for generating Favicons - http://www.html-kit.com/e/favicon.cgi

Hope this is of use

Ian :)

Just wondering if anyone else has considered using the flash blogger as a news / what's new facility ?

We're currently testing it, to see how it integrates with the Shopping Cart.

If anyone is interest, we'll keep you posted :D www.kwayzekatz.co.uk <--- Site developed using CoffeeCup Software: Shopping Cart Creator, Web Form Builder, Photo Gallery, RSS News Flash, Flash FireStarter, Web Video Player, Flash Menu Builder, Shopping Cart Designer

Ian,

I would think the RSS News Flash program would also be a good program to keep your new items in view. Bill R.

Bill,

Thanks for the suggestion, it seems that the RSS News Flash does everything the blog does and more, so that's one for us.

Thanks

Did something change in 3.5? There is no \styles\ folder here. Is there a way to change the styles w/o uploading and changing from the ftp site?

Wondering the same as I don't see the \styles\ folder there.

I agree with adding Google Analytics. I LIVE on that site for visitor feedback, and I'm guessing Big G shows favor to those who access many differnet products on their sites.

Email you about a product from the product page.

This little bit of html can be added in you items detail (via the html button).
When a shopper clicks on the button it will email you with their comment or question on that product. :)

[[[<BODY>
<! >
<! >
<FORM>
<INPUT TYPE="button" VALUE="Click Here to email about this item" onClick="parent.location='mailto:test@test.com?subject=Item in your shop'">
</FORM>
]]]

just amend the test@test.com with your email address
and amend the item in your shop with the product description you want

Works as long as they have email software present on their PC, not webmail of course.

Hey I like this! Is there a way to get the subject to be relevant to the item? Say, use the product description or underlying item code?
That would be neat.

Thanks Kind regards
