I wouldn't say I was an expert with Ad Producer but I've been playing around with it. Most of the programs that CC bring out are first class but this isn't one of them in my humble opinion compared to other software on the market namely Banner Maker Pro which is the best for this type of thing.
Ad Producer is just too clunky. Even the name hardly grabs attention, it's too er...polite. You need something like Coffeecup Ad pro or Coffeecup Banner pro, anything but producer. http://www.dozydayz.co.uk

I have to say that I really like Ad Producer. It is so much more than a simple banner maker. Here is a card I built and sent to my daughter http://www.arealwebsite.com/cards/
The one thing I would really like to see added is a Start/Stop button like the Sound/Mute. I use it to insert videos instead of the Web Video Player program alot, because you can make the player the size of the video. One of the major complaints in the Web Video Player forum is the lack of sizes (small, large) and skins. This isn't an issue using Ad Producer.

Interesting how we all react differently to names, labels, brands and such!

To me, the word (?) "pro" has just become badly overused and mis-used. Somewhat reminiscent of "turbo", which was similarly overused back in the 70s (or was it the 80s?). It made sense in the car industry, where it had a specific meaning, usually an exhaust-driven fan that pumped more air into the engine, thereby increasing power. But a lot of other applications made absolutely no sense at all and it became a joke. Remember TurboTax and many similar usages? I had visions of some supercharged monsters that would go out of control...

For the current MS products, I must (reluctantly?) agree that the comparative use of "Home-" and "Professional-" versions make sense, where "Professional" becomes "pro" for short. The use of "pro" for the CC Shopping Cart Creator also has the comparative function versus the basic version, so I guess it makes sense there too.

In cases where this comparative quality does not exist, however, I don't even know what "pro" would stand for. This since it is not really a word but just a prefix, like in "pro and con"...

Well, just my two cents worth... Per

Remember? Heck I still use it. A few years back I couldn't remember which one I'd used the year before, bought the 'wrong one'... Went back and got TT, and got about $1k extra in my return that year... Never forgot again :D Who needs sleep?

I've installed ad producer, and the "settings" and "advanced" tabs are cut off on the right side of my screen. I can only see about half of the menu, rendering the program unusable. I've tried maximizing and minimizing. I've tried changing screen display settings from 1024 X 768 (what I currently use) to several other settings, and nothing seems to work. Also, I'm not able to lauch the program with my destop icon, or the startup progam launcher.

It sounds like putting in a support ticket will help you versus using the support forum. At the top of the page under account you will find where to submit your support ticket. In the ticket make sure you put all of the information you just submitted, plus what system you are using, screen size, etc. anything you think that will help. The philosopher has not done philosophy until he has acted upon the mere conviction of his idea; for proof of the theory is in the act, not the idea.

Just goes to show how "turbo" (and maybe "pro" too, who knows?) can screw up your mind! - You're suddenly getting all the animals mixed up!! Per

Well done Lloyd on the card. Yeah a lot of these so called banner maker programs do a lot more than make banners etc, they are graphics packages in their own right. I've used a few of them but got to say that CC isn't my fav.
