UPDATE: I just spoke with Suzanne and she informed me that Vinnie instructed us to split the winnings with Miriam 50/50, and that Miriam has decided to pledge her share to Mike's MS campaign. How's that for generosity?!

You got that right JC, it's an honor to be a part of a community that has this kind of generosity within it. I'm glad CC's marketing plan brought out the best in others ;)

Mike - That's a wonderful bounty you've raised up there SO FAR!!! Don't ease off now, go for a record year!

I'm off for now, another LONG DAY fighting the winds on the highway... Just a 4 hour drive tomorrow (I HOPE!). Living the dream, stocking the cream :D

Hi Mike,

I've been rushing around doing the things I didn't do during the egg hunt so haven't taken the time to post. You know, like work and ..... buying food! It's so funny, our fridge and pantry were basically empty this morning and I realised because it was because of the hunt. Our fortnightly shop got put on hold for a whole week. I guess I donated because I felt that I didn't really win the egg myself, if you know what I mean. I didn't find it and wasn't even close so it felt kind of weird for Vinnie to split it half-ways for something he could have easily looked up in about five minutes .I guess I also felt a little bit guilty that I unthinkingly blurted out the answer without even thinking whether or not it would disappoint a whole bunch of people.:P Anyways, you were pretty keen to get that egg for your bike-a-thon and it's for a great cause. I'm glad it puts you ahead with your fundraiser. :)

Hi Bike Mike!

Sorry to have disappeared for a few days, but I had to take care of some of the things that went by the wayside during the egg hunt, like personal hygiene and pet care.

I just made a pledge to your ride. It's a small one, here's hoping next time it can be more.

MS took my mom from me in 1975 when I was just a kid. So, you go get em!

Terri

PS: Counting the days until the next prize hunt. This time I'll lay in a supply of snacks!

Terri . . . . THANK YOU FOR YOUR PLEDGE/ DONATION. That is awesome !!!

You brought me up to $1,589.00. Look below. I have to change the meter manually by using Paint Shop Pro 12.

I just got back doing about 20 miles. Then next week will be 30 or more miles for a few days. Then add more miles each week till bike tour time.

I really stink right now. Gotta shower up and smell clean.:P:P:P:P:P:cool:

I am going to do the same thing like you did Terri. Have snack ready on my side for the next hunt CoffeeCup does. Maybe CHRISTMAS PRESENT HUNT.

I am sorry that MS took your mom. I hope they do find a cure for MS soon. It been so many years and they still have not found a cure yet. They did find away to pause it or slow it down though somewhat. I met a couple of people that has MS. They are nice people.

Terri . . . .thank you soooooooooo very much.

How do we donate Mike? I thought I'd find something on your site, but I didn't find it, I am probably just missing it somewhere :) Jo Ann
