Setting Up a Form for GoDaddy's Windows Servers

GoDaddy's ASP-equipped servers require a few special configurations to properly generate emails, store files, etc. Login to your Control Panel (Hosting & Servers > My Hosting Account) to perform the following changes.

Directory ManagementFirst, because the permissions cannot be modified for the root directory of your account, you'll need to manually create a special folder in which to store your files. Select Content > Directory Management. Click the "Create Directory" button to add a new folder.

Give your directory the desired permissions (read, web, browse, write, setroot) and specify a name. Once you click "Continue", you'll be taken to a page to verify the information.

Upload the form files into this newly created directory by specifying the name in the "Initial Host Folder" field of your server profile in Form Builder.

Lastly, you'll also need to specify relay-hosting.secureserver.net as the SMTP Server using the Custom SMTP Settings to make sure the email will be sent.
