This is the best place to start since it is the beginning of the Help file. I will try and walk you through the whole process from start to finish covering all things in between. (Look here for a Step-by-Step tutorial)
If you have opened the program already it basically look like this. How complicated can it be, there are only 14 buttons and two major menus. Since there are only three menus we will start with them first. (Continue below the image.)

The File menu, like any other program, is the main menu. It contains all the items a user will need to start, save and close a form.
|
|
As you can see, there are a total of six menu items under File and although I think they are fairly self explanatory, I will explain what each one does.
New - This allows you to start a new Form
Open - This allows you to open a Form you have saved in the past.
Open From Template - Gives you the chance to use one of the Forms we have already made.
Save - Saves the current Form you are working on.
Save As Template - This allows you to save your Form in a template format. You can then come back and edit the form to suit other sites as needed.
Exit - Exits the program |
|
The Edit menu allows you to Copy, Paste, and Delete until your heart is content. I hope you are familiar with these functions, as they are present in almost every program made. But I will explain anyway, just-in-case. |
|
|
|
Undo - This will move you back one step at a time. There is no redo buttons so once you Undo, you are stuck creating the item again.
Cut - Removes the item to the clipboard
Copy - Makes a copy of the item and places it on the clipboard
Paste - Pastes the last item you Cut or Copied to the clipboard.
Delete - Will delete the selected item.
Tab Order - This allows you to choose the order in which the user tabs through the Form.
Show Grid - This displays a grid in the Form edit area and allows you to more accurately place objects. |
|
The Help menu allows you to contact us as well as open the Help area on our site for this program. |
|
|
|
There are four menu items in the Help menu.
Online Help - Opens a browser and takes you to the help section on our site.
Contact Us - Opens a browser and takes you to our Contact Us page. Fill in the fields and send us an e-mail.
Show Tips on Startup - This allows you to toggle on and off the tips displayed when you open the program.
About - Provides the version number for the program as well as our contact information. |
