How to Create a Slide Show

Here is a neat trick using Firestarter: An interactive slide show. This slideshow has three "slides." And you can advance to the next slide by clicking on the next button. The restart button goes back to the first frame.
How was that done? Download the .Fire file and you can see for yourself. You will need to unzip the file once it has been downloaded

When you open the .Fire file, you will see 3 Stop Actions. These stop actions divide the slides. Basically, as soon as one slide is done, the movie will stop. A viewer will have to click on the next button to begin the movie.

During each slide, we have blanked out everything that we don't want to appear on that slide. For instance, the text "This is the first frame" only appears in the first frame (right up to the first stop action), then it is blank. That is because we don't want it appearing while the other text comes onto the screen.
