Why can't I save my html files?
VisualSite Designer uses a file format called vnu. This is why you can create your own graphics in VisualSite Designer. You should never edit such a vnu file by hand. Each time you use the command "Preview Homepage" or the "Send" button, the program actually creates all html files and jpeg images necessary.
VisualSite Designer will automatically export all the HTML files and images to the each time you save the VNU. There will be a folder using the exact same name as the VNU file, followed by "_website" (Ex: "Mysite_website"). With Direct FTP you can connect to your FTP server and upload the contents of that folder manually.
