Overview of VisualSite Designer
It is very easy to get a clear
overview of all the functionality in VisualSite Designer. In this part of the Online
help you will get an explanation of each of the different parts in VisualSite Designer.
The Menu and the Toolbar
Below you see a part of the upper user interface in VisualSite Designer.
At the top you see the Menu with all the functionality to create or open Homepages and many other
commands. Just below is the Toolbar with
11 large buttons.
The Toolbox
The Toolbox in VisualSite Designer is shown to the right.
By using the these tools you can insert text objects, graphical objects
and html objects. You can move the Toolbox around by clicking in the logo area and
dragging it with the mouse. The active tool is illustrated as seen to the
right where it is the Arrow Tool that is the
active tool.

Inspector
The Inspector is a central part of
VisualSite Designer. This is where you can adjust the settings for the active page
or the active object. The seven buttons "Page",
"Object", "Link", "Fill", Effect",
"Styles" and "MouseOver" in the Toolbar
controls the content of the Inspector. If for instance the button
"Page" is pressed the Inspector will show the settings for
the active page.
Statusbar
At the bottom you find the Statusbar in
VisualSite Designer. The Statusbar is divided into 3 areas. They show the placement of
the currently selected object, the number of pages in your Homepage and the time is takes to publish it to the
Internet.
