Can I use transparent GIFs?
You can insert transparent gifs onto your page using the Picture tool, but it will only retain its transparency if the image does not intersect with any other objects on the page. If the image is just sitting over the background of your page, then the transparent background will display properly. Since VisualSite slices up the different objects as jpg files, if the images intersect with any other objects it will be resampled as a jpg file and the transparency will be lost.
