This area of the program includes all the program options as well as those controlling the "Capture from Screen" tool. 

 

 

The Capture from Screen area contains all the setting for that tool.  Choose up 16x magnification from the drop down menu to get a better look at the pixels you will be choosing.  If you choose either the 3x3 or 5x5 Average, the program will compare all the colors from the surrounding pixels and give you the average between them.
