Foreword
Being the CEO of CoffeeCup Software I probably could have gotten someone famous to do my Foreword. Instead I chose someone that uses our Web Design Software and who understands what we are about. This was taken directly from his Website without his knowledge until this book went to print. I did this because it would not be fake or contrived. For me it's always been about the users.
I first discovered CoffeeCup Software in 1997 when the company was only about a year old and they only had only one program, an HTML Editor. About six months later I contacted the company while doing some research about the internet. My telephone conversation was brief. I had no idea what would follow.
Three days later, without solicitation, one of their programmers called to make sure that I had gotten an appropriate and complete answer to my question. The programmer knew that further detailing the information meant no revenue for their company. I was simply doing some research in an attempt to learn more about the internet. Later that same week the programmer called again with another programmer on a long distance conference call and further detailed their answer.
During that last call I asked the programmer why he had taken so much time to research my question, and to call me twice, and what about my question sparked his concern. He explained to me that the team at CoffeeCup Software was passionately committed to being an organization about helping people communicate and express themselves. He told me that he believes that if they pay attention to each and every question or concern that comes from their potential customers like the answer would either make or break their company, thus their dreams, that someday the sincere effort to help will be rewarded. Then he told me that he gets his reward each evening when he goes home to be greeted by his young son while knowing that he has done his very best to truly help someone.
The passionate professionalism that I found at CoffeeCup Software is second to none and I am honored to do all that I can to spread the word about this wonderful organization and its wonderful people.

CoffeeCup Software started in a real Coffee House 1996. Our first program was the HTML Editor. Over the last 10 years we have created a lot more Web Design & Flash Software.
